Natalie's Plant Status #5

       1. Are there any new anatomical structures on your plants? If so, what are they and how do you think they will serve your plant?
      2. How could your plants increase their numbers?
      3. Describe some factors that limit the number of bean plants that could grow in each garden box and explain how these factors work to limit your plants' growth.
       4. What do you think the carrying capacity of one garden box is for Phaseolus vulgaris? Give a number and justify your answer.

There are few new anatomical structures on my plants. The only thing added has been a few new leaves here and there. The new leaves should improve the leaf's growth and feed the beans through photosynthesis. 

My plants can increase their numbers through pollination. After they grow bean pods they will then fall out and reseed the earth with more of their kind. 

Some factors that can limit the number of bean plants that can be grown in our garden box include over population, the possibility of other species in the way, and not enough resources available in order for them to survive.

I believe the maximum capacity of Phaseolus vulgaris is around 700 in one of the garden boxes. I believe this because of the limited amount of space in the box. Of course there will be some space taken by unexpected weeds and other plant species, therefore, I have decreased my estimate. 

Other than this the plants are healthy and growing each time i visit them.
